These days, you don't have to settle for a photo that isn't perfect.

Here's an example:

This breathtaking hallway is called Cloister Hall, and it sits between the beautiful Monastery Immaculate Conception church and their monastery quadrangle. (Located in Ferdinand, Indiana. You MUST come for a tour sometime. Click here for info about the monastery.)

They wanted to use this photo for a new set of postcards they were creating. However, there were two aspects of the photo they did not like — the water spot on the floor and the "Please use this door" sign on the exit door. After getting permission from the photographer (Bill Sheets of Louisville, Kentucky), I took out those elements and produced this image:

Voila! We're left with a lovely picture, minus the distractions.
